The most recent build number of the MSJVM is 3810. The previous version was 3805. There is a mention of MS VirtualMachine version 3812 that only provides a hotfix to the MS Java Virtual Machine to make itcompatible with DST 2007 (daylight saving time 2007) rules. The 3810 Microsoft VM includes a fix for securityvulnerability with ByteCode Verifier component of the MS JVM, that does not correctly block some malicious Java applets. Also you can update previous versions of the Microsoft VM to Build 3810by installing the Microsoft 816093 critical update.

Steps to install the Microsoft JVM:
- Download the file using the links above and save it to your harddrive.
- Once the file is on your harddrive, execute it and thus load the MS JVM.
- As the file begins execution, answer Yes to the License Agreement question and then once complete, re-boot your PC.
- Once the PC is re-booted you should be set to go.
